1. Standard Multi-Junction VCSEL Laser Chip for 905nm Pulse NIR Illumination
This 905nm 4W 7Mil multi-junction VCSEL laser chip is designed for pulse-power near-infrared sensing, active illumination, industrial optical detection, machine vision support, and compact optical source development.
The product is supplied as a standard VCSEL laser chip by default. It is suitable for 905nm pulse sensing modules, active NIR illumination, compact optical source designs, optical detection systems, machine vision auxiliary source evaluation, and chip-level VCSEL integration projects.
With 4.5W typical optical output power at IF = 1A, this device provides a compact 905nm pulse VCSEL source for applications requiring higher peak optical output, short pulse operation, and small die-level integration.
2. Key Features
This 905nm 4W multi-junction VCSEL laser chip is supplied as a standard pulse-power VCSEL device for NIR sensing and active illumination applications.
Key features include 905nm typical wavelength, 4W-class pulse optical output power, 4.5W typical output at IF = 1A, multi-junction VCSEL structure, 20V typical forward voltage, 26% typical power conversion efficiency, 18° typical beam divergence at 1/e², and doughnut-shaped symmetrical far-field output.
The compact 180μm × 180μm die size and 50±1μm emitting aperture allow flexible integration into ceramic submounts, chip-on-board assemblies, compact optical modules, and customer-specific VCSEL packages.
Package-level assembly, wire bonding, ceramic submount mounting, pulse drive condition review, beam shaping, divergence control, and customer-specific optical spot requirements can also be reviewed according to the customer's optical, electrical, thermal, and mechanical layout.
3. Application Development Direction
This device supports 905nm pulse NIR sensing, active optical illumination, machine vision support, industrial detection, compact VCSEL module development, and custom optical source integration.
In a pulse sensing or active illumination module design, the VCSEL wavelength, peak output power, pulse width, duty cycle, drive current, forward voltage, package structure, thermal path, beam profile, detector response, optical path, and final system signal behavior should be reviewed together.
The 4W-class pulse output power provides a useful multi-junction VCSEL option for compact 905nm optical source designs, especially where higher peak output, high-voltage pulse operation, beam shaping, or customized VCSEL package development is required.
4. Evaluation Sample Kit and Documentation Support
Paid evaluation sample kits can be arranged for selected standard VCSEL chip products, subject to product availability and project review. International express shipping can also be arranged depending on the destination.
An Initial Product Report has been filed with the U.S. FDA CDRH for the Laser Diode Series, including the VCSEL Laser Diode Chip Series. CE-related documentation is also available for project evaluation, including EMC documentation and EN 60825 laser safety / LVD test documentation. Material compliance documentation, including RoHS, REACH, and HF documentation, can also be provided upon request.
